GUIDES
How the work gets done, and where AI helps.
GUIDE · BOTH MODULES · 4 MIN READ
What is an AI construction cloud?
What an AI construction cloud is, why infrastructure needs its own, and the questions to ask a vendor before you choose one.

GUIDE · GENERATIVE DESIGN · 3 MIN READ · VIDEO
Analysis rounds without the redraw
How the Generative Design module runs every design round through finite element and structural analysis tools with built-in integrations, brings the results back automatically and redraws the drawings and BOQ from the model.

Generative design for metro viaducts
How rule-based generative design places and checks every pier of an elevated metro viaduct, runs the analysis in finite element and structural analysis tools and draws the drawings and BOQ.

Progress reported by BOQ line
Why infrastructure progress is read by BOQ line, and how the Construction Management module reports progress by BOQ line with financial and physical progress side by side.

VIDEOS
Short videos of both modules.
The product tours are short and have no sound. The explainers are narrated, with captions.
Generative
Design
Design from your rules: generate, analyse, draw
GENERATIVE DESIGN · 32 S · NO SOUND
A viaduct generated, then its sections optimised
A recorded Generative Design demo: the structure is generated from the inputs, then flagged piers are re-sectioned. Sample project data.
GENERATIVE DESIGN · 51 S · NARRATED
Analysis rounds without the redraw
Why each analysis round waits for the redraw, and how the Generative Design module takes the redraw out.
Rules in, a structure out
GENERATIVE DESIGN · 54 S · NARRATED
Rules in, a structure out
How the Generative Design module turns your design standards and inputs into a checked structure, and rebuilds it when the route moves.
GENERATIVE DESIGN · 21 S · NO SOUND
Generative Design in six screens
Rules, inputs, the generated model, an analysis round, a change with SAM, and the drawings and BOQ.
Construction
Management
Run the site and verify the work
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT · 53 S · NARRATED
Progress by BOQ line
Why a report by BOQ line answers the question most readers have, and how the Construction Management module builds it.
One schedule for the plan and the site
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT · 45 S · NARRATED
One schedule for the plan and the site
How the schedule comes in, how the site logs progress against it, and how the reports follow.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT · 38 S · NARRATED
Inspections from raised to closed
How an inspection is raised, assigned and closed, and how defects are followed until they are fixed.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT · 35 S · NARRATED
One set of drawings for the project
One drawing register, documents with permissions, transmittals and RFIs in one place.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT · 44 S · NARRATED
Ask the project, update it by chat
Asking LivSYT AI about the project, logging quantities, and site updates through the WhatsApp assistant (pilot).
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT · 17 S · NO SOUND
Construction Management in five screens
Set up zones, import the schedule and BOQ, record progress, approve it and report it.

Glossary of infrastructure design and construction terms
Plain definitions of infrastructure design and construction terms: chainage, BOQ, general arrangement, pier cap, load combination, S-curve, RFI and more.
Open the glossary →
Chainage
Distance along the centre line from a fixed start point.
BOQ
Every item of work in a contract, with quantity, unit and rate.
General arrangement
The drawing of a structure's overall layout and main dimensions.
Pier cap
The top of a pier. It spreads the bearing loads into the pier.
Load combination
A set of loads applied together to check a structure.
S-curve
A chart of cumulative progress over time, planned against actual.
RFI
A formal question from site to the designer, with its answer.
DPR
The daily record of work done on site.
